Recap of Young and Reckless: Season 2 Miami Episode Two — "It Girls"
I’m back to recap Young and Reckless: Season 2! Ready? Let’s get started…
Episode Two: “It Girls”
Nugg and Canadian Barbie Go at It Again
The episode starts like the last one ended, with the ladies seated on a huge white couch. Ferrari asks if Canadian Barbie and Nugg are good. And Nugg says Barbie doesn’t want to fight, so yeah. Barbie doesn’t see a reason for the two to fight because they don’t have any real beef, and remember, she had a fight with Sav last episode.
So she says, “What are we fighting for? Next.” And Nugg took the “next” as a sign of disrespect. So she sits there quietly fuming while Ferrari calls out the twins and Sierra for being messy for bringing up a subject in the van on the way to the house. But they all don’t get to move on to that mess because…
Yoo Whooo!
Remember Nugg is pissed off at Canadian Barbie? Well, if we all forgot, she didn’t, as we can tell because her next move was to get up and charge toward Canadian Barbie, who stands, and they start to fight. And boy, was it a fight.
Nugg takes a small container of macaroni and cheese out of her bag as she stands and throws it towards Barbie, who like I said stood up, and they proceed to rumble. Poor Barbie, she tried though. She flailed around like a rag doll slapping and grabbing while Nugg punched her out of her wig and into the clutches of security. I will give it to her, she was fighting back. For some reason, in her confessional, Nugg says she did it because Barbie was continuously talking, and somehow she equated that to her bullying her.
Umm, I dunno…it seems to me like Nugg just was annoyed with Barbie and took her moment to make a move that she thought would make her stand out on the show. Because I’m not sure why Nugg was so mad, are you? And it seems the other girls were just as perplexed as security dragged Nugg away from a wigless Canadian Barbie.
Whew!
The Mac and Cheese Crossfire
Remember I said Nugg threw the mac and cheese towards Barbie? Well, the macaroni got thrown onto the twins. And Tinz has it all in her face. They are rightfully upset, and that leads me to my point I always make when women get to throwing things. Now Nugg doesn’t give me any punk vibes, but usually, that’s why women throw things. They would rather throw objects than hands. They want to strike but stay at a safe distance so as not to get hit back.
But that was not the case in this situation. Nugg was looking for her moment to stand out, and the twins, namely Tinz, just happened to get it too. And that brings me to my next point: there is always the possibility that you won’t hit your target when you throw things. Depending on who gets hit, you just may end up having a whole other situation to deal with. It’s just not always wise to throw things, ya dig?
Ferrari goes to talk to Barbie, who is screaming that Nugg doesn’t have a reason not to like her, blah blah blah. Ferrari feels they should just fight again. When she gets back to everybody, the twins are mad about the macaroni and cheese. Nugg sincerely apologizes and hugs them because, like we all figured, she wasn’t trying to disrespect them; it was all meant for Canadian Barbie.
But why?
But anyway, I like the twins, they seem really cool. They could have made a big deal, but they understood and accepted the apology. But they don’t seem all that cool, like better nobody else throw nothing else on them, lol.
Yeah, Nugg was wrong, but she admitted it, so they all are moving on, and if I want this review to be less than a million words, I should too, so let’s move on…
House Rules from a New Ferrari
Ferrari once again calls out the twins and Sierra for being messy for bringing up a subject in the van on the way to the house. Tinz told Barbie Nugg said she was going to punch her in the mouth. So she feels it’s karma the mac and cheese hit them…whoa…
Ferrari gives the girls some house rules. One of them being “call out your fades” instead of “sneaking.” Nugg points out that she didn’t sneak Barbie, but Ferrari feels she ran up on her…
So?
Barbie saw it coming, so what’s the problem? It seems like it was mutual. Am I wrong? Was it not a fair one? Ferrari asks Nugg if she wants to fight Barbie again, and Nugg is down. But Canadian Barbie feels like she is the one being bullied. She obviously doesn’t want to fight. They fight again, and it’s more of the same…Barbie flailing around swinging while being punched on. Now when they are separated, Barbie’s mouth is bloodied…Stop the madness, geez. She wants to know the reason, and so do I. Why Nugg?
What did Canadian Barbie do that is making you beat the Jamaican accent out of her?
The situation is crazy, and Ferrari just wants to go over the house rules…and she tells the girls she already paired them into rooms, and if they have an issue with it, they can pack their bags and go home. A new Ferrari, remember?
Room Pairings and Rynaee’s Attitude
They go to their rooms…
The twins are happy because they are paired together, and they like their room. Sav and Nugg are happy to be together. Their room was really nice too, with a large deluxe shower in the bathroom. Ferrari had a large and beautiful room as well.
The issue comes when Baby Tyson sees that she is paired up with Rynaee Trill. Rynaee sees that she is less than thrilled and calls her out. Baby Tyson tells her she heard the comments that Rynaee was making about rooming with certain people because she cares about looks and who she associates with. Pretty much calling her superficial…
Would you agree?
I mean, now we are into the second episode, and we are starting to peep the ladies out a little more, and it’s still early, but…
I’m noticing Rynaee seems a bit shallow and a tad bit on the narcissistic side. She also seems to reveal her true feelings in the confessionals but not really to a girl’s face. Not on the level of Sav from last season, because apparently there is a new Sav that showed up this season, but she doesn’t really say the mean girl stuff to people’s faces…at least so far.
Anyhow, Baby Tyson ain’t feeling it.
But it all works out because Rynaee and Sav decide to room together. For some reason, they are skipping through the house jumping on beds like they are longtime best friends. Uh, didn’t these two just meet? But they seem to have a lot in common. And Rynaee thinks their looks are more compatible, so they should be together.
Lol. Girl bye.
Don’t get me wrong, Rynaee is cute, but her personality is not, and it takes away from her attractiveness. It makes you study her more closely…It makes you wonder why looks matter so much to her, and then like I said…
You start to look at her more closely…she should just be a little nicer, and it wouldn’t make you pause to study her so hard. Like I can move it on along until she says something mean, and then I’m analyzing her, and I’m like…
Huh?
Canadian Barbie is in her room having a heart to heart with Ferrari, and I’m exhausted. I want the girls to leave Barbie alone. And I want her to sober up and stop talking about it. Now Nugg is of the understanding it was okay to whack her upside the head in an effort to get her to stop running her mouth. I disagree. Barbie has decided to play victim, and I’m just tired. She should be tired. We are all tired. So please, nobody else say or do anything to this lady. It’s exhausting.
Rynaee asks Ferrari where Sierra is. Um, ma’am, why do you care? Rynaee is the real messy one, yawl. She brings up an incident that occurred on the last show that Sierra appeared in involving her sneaking off to be with some dude.
Rynaee, is that your business? But here she is yapping about Sierra to Sav, of course, Ferrari and Nugg…Sav says Sierra is off somewhere hiding…
Nope!
Sierra is sitting outside smoking and conversing with Baby Tyson…not hiding one bit. She understands that the girls feel like she instigated the fight between Canadian Barbie and Nugg, but she doesn’t feel like she was being messy.
New Arrivals: Jefa, Ky, and Milan Milliee
We still have girls arriving to the house…
Next, we are introduced to Jefa, who is from Miami and coming to rep her city. I like her confidence; I just hope she doesn’t turn out to be super conceited and snobby. She turns out to be good friends with Nugg.
Next, we are re-introduced to Ky from last season, and she is back this season. Ferrari notices Ky is looking around, but Ky is just staying ready so she don’t have to get ready, ok?
Shout out to Suga Free, lol.
Sav seems happy to see her. They hug.
The next one to arrive at the house is Milan Milliee, and I just want to say, what’s up with the spellings of these names?
Anyway…she kinda reminds me of Rynaee, or am I trippin? Well, they are friends from outside of the house. And they want us all to know they are really those girls in real life, not just on T.V.
Ok.
Melanie Fox Finally Shows Up
Apparently, Melanie Fox has beef with Ky, Ferrari, and Sav stemming from last season. Melanie didn’t take kindly to a bunch of the girls commenting on her and insinuating she was a “crack head.” Ky said she apologized, and Ferrari says she and Ms. Fox don’t even have real beef…but remember, Melanie hasn’t arrived yet, so let’s just see how it goes when she does.
Ferrari’s chef prepared a seafood boil, and the girls settle down to a good meal…
As they eat, the infamous Melanie Fox finally arrives, and she sits down with a plate to get her grub on as well. But Ferrari takes the time to talk to her about their issues. Melanie felt like Ferrari was the cause of her and Ivori fighting, but Ferrari says she never told Ivori to fight for her. Melanie says a couple of other girls took mushrooms as well as her, but she was portrayed on the show to be a drug addict. Well, Ferrari says she never called her a “crack head,” but you know what?
Melanie vs. Sav: The Cocaine Claim
Melanie wonders where Sav is because she said she did a line of cocaine when she didn’t. Well, where is Sav while everybody else is downstairs eating? Up in her room, dare I say…hiding? Maybe?
Well, Sav comes downstairs to face the wrath of Melanie Fox. Sav wonders why Melanie keeps saying she said she did a line of cocaine….Uh…
Because you did! How do we know? They ran a flashback of you saying it in your confessional. So you don’t remember. And despite you claiming to be a new Sav, when Melanie said she was going to put hands on you for your shenanigans at the reunion, you just stood there looking very much like the old scary punk a** Sav to me. You looked big-eyed and shocked. Quiet as a church mouse, with none of the energy you had for Canadian Barbie.
New Sav my patooty.
A Softer Melanie?
Melanie is mad that she was portrayed as a bully, and not Ivori, who was whooping everybody before Melanie ever showed up on season one. Does she have a point? Yeah, I can see how Melanie maybe was treated a bit unfairly when it came to the labels and names she was called.
Ferrari wants to move forward with Melanie, but Melanie could care less. She says Ferrari’s real problem is with Legacy, and she should address it with her.
Melanie reveals in her confessional that right before she made it to the show, a few days before, she had a fight and the girl ended up shooting her in the head with a B.B. gun…
Whoa! God is in the business of blessing folks, and she is blessed!
She feels like it has changed her, made her not be so quick to fight. I can notice a difference in her; she does seem a little softer, and that’s okay. It’s not natural for a woman to be hard like a man anyway. It’s not a weakness that Melanie sat there and used her words. That’s actually something masculine men admire about feminine women…that women can express themselves with brains, not brawn.
Melanie is beautiful when she is in her feminine.
The Boxing Gym Turns Messy
They pile in the van to go to the boxing gym, and on the way…
Ferrari’s song comes on, and Melanie makes a smart comment about it. They have a light back-and-forth, and when Melanie brings up Legacy, the conversation takes an uncomfortable turn, and Ferrari doesn’t do much in the way of pushing back…
Wait, what?
Thought she said it was a new Ferrari? But just like the new Sav, the old Ferrari seemed to show up as soon as Melanie Fox showed up. And Ferrari sat there being punked and treated like a cast mate, just like on season one.
Sigh.
Girl, get it together!
The boxing gym…
Some girls have it and others don’t, as we can see them sparring with a male instructor. But first, we are introduced to a new girl, Kayuna, who nobody really acknowledges because here is their chance to get some hostility out and show the other girls their skills.
Then Ferrari brings out cards for the girls to read out loud where they had written things about the other girls. It’s their chance to stand on bidness…
Messy!
Someone wrote Melanie had Sav shook…
No lies told. Sav is scared, lol.
Tay wrote she feels like there is a lot of nitpicking going on. Namely, the twins feel Rynaee is picking on Sierra.
True, people are picking and choosing who they want to call out or fight but ducking other people for the call out or the fade.
Nobody had nothing else to say, so to be even more messy…Ferrari turns around the punching bags, and each one has a picture of one of the girls on it. If someone has beef, they are to go up to that bag with the corresponding picture and take it out on the bag…
Nugg rips down the picture of Canadian Barbie. Melanie Fox beats on the bag with the picture of Ivori. Rynaee gives a random bag a half-hearted kick cause it was blocking her bag. So the twins beat her bag up…
Ferrari says she gave the girls a chance, but not all girls stood on bidness, meaning they are on hush when they could be letting it be known who they have a problem with. But it’s back to the house they go…
The Twins and Rynaee End It in the Van
In the van on the way back to the house…
Rynaee isn’t feeling that the twins said she was picking on Sierra. Rynaee says she liked one twin, Tinz, but didn’t like that she got into her beef with Tay. She reminds them that they said that they don’t jump people. Well, why did she say that? You know how twins are. An argument ensues. Tinz says they can fight. Rynaee says they can, but are they jumping? And then Tay wants to know which one she wants to fight. The twins stand up, and so does Rynaee…
How does the episode end?
A fight breaks out in the van between Rynaee and the twins.
I just want to remind yawl it’s only episode two and we still haven’t been introduced to the rest of the cast yet! Make sure to follow Pinknarcology so you won’t miss my recap of episode three! Muah!
