Recap Of One Mo’ Chance Season 2 Episode Four: “Fight or Flight”

Okay, Chance fans, let’s get into One Mo’ Chance Season 2, Episode Four, “Fight or Flight,” on the Zeus Network. Chance has something planned to deal with all the fighting—but will it settle anything or just create more drama? I’ll share my overall thoughts at the end, but first, a warning: spoilers ahead!

Episode Four: “Fight or Flight”

Ready? Let’s get started!

Remember last episode, when Chance told the women he had something special planned for them?

Are you excited to see something besides everybody fighting like cats and dogs? Let’s hope it’s a vacation.

The episode begins early in the morning with the ladies getting ready for the day.

Gran Tee looks good in the bob wig she wears in her confessional. She says she hopes they don’t have another day like the last one.

I understand, ma’am. A little peace would be nice, but with this group, I wouldn’t count on it.

Wap Wap Leaves Chance a Gift

Wap Wap heads upstairs carrying a gift bag and a stuffed bear. She wants Chance to feel appreciated after giving her a hat at elimination.

She calls herself a “sentimental thug,” leaves the gift outside his bedroom, knocks, and heads back downstairs.

I thought that was sweet.

Chance opens his door and finds the present waiting for him.

Of course, he immediately starts clowning the packaging and says the bag looks like it came from Pic n’ Save.

Then he says the bear looks like it came from Goodwill.

Remind me never to buy this man a gift, lol.

He does say he appreciates Wap Wap thinking of him, though. At least he recognizes the gesture.

The Poolside Conversation Gets Tense

Slim, Smilez, Rollie, and Wap Wap sit poolside with their legs in the water, smoking and discussing the drama.

Bad & Bougie comes outside, gives Smilez a kiss on the cheek, says good morning, and heads off to do her own thing.

Slim is disappointed that Baybi Ruth went home.

I liked her too, but I didn’t see much of a connection with Chance. Considering how harsh his jokes can get, maybe leaving wasn’t the worst outcome for her.

Smilez says she hoped more women would have been eliminated.

Finally, somebody remembers this is a competition! Not everybody can stay until the end.

Smilez reminds Rollie that she went off on her the previous day. Rollie explains that when she is angry, she doesn’t want anybody trying to calm her down.

Smilez wonders how they can be fine one minute and then suddenly—ROAR!

Lol.

Rollie tells Smilez she is there for Chance, not to question her behavior. Smilez points out that Rollie’s behavior affects everybody in the house.

And that is a fair point. You can want space when you’re upset, but the other women still have to live around the commotion.

Then Rollie says she is there to give the women jobs.

Wap Wap immediately objects. Hold up—you aren’t giving HER a job.

Oops, Rollie. You forgot you weren’t still talking to calm, cool, and collected Smilez.

They move past that exchange, and Wap Wap says she is focused on Chance. She wants this to be his last season because she hopes he will choose her.

Girl, maybe I’m cynical, but this show feels just as interested in keeping the drama going as it does in finding him a relationship.

But shhh! Let me get back to the recap.

The women decide to get dressed for the day.

Chance Calls in Natalie Nunn

Switch…

Chance meets with Micah to discuss all the fighting.

Chance says he is disappointed about letting Baybi Ruth go. Micah wonders why he chose her in the first place.

Ouch.

Chance decides the women need a visit from somebody who knows a thing or two about being a Bad Girl.

He calls Natalie Nunn.

He tells her the women have been acting up and that he needs her help.

So Natalie is about to pull up—and do what, exactly?

Chance tells Micah to have the women put on athletic clothes and running shoes. Micah says there has been plenty of talking but not enough fighting for love.

I have a feeling that instruction is about to become very literal.

Micah Gets the Women Moving

Micah finds Biggie, Smallz, Skittlz, Soulja Girl, and Yodela lounging together and asks why everybody is piled into one bed.

These women have certainly formed their little group quickly.

He tells them to get ready in about ten minutes, then goes looking for the others.

He finds Gran Tee resting by herself. When he tells her to put on booty shorts and a sports bra, she is not exactly enthusiastic.

Lol. Let the woman wake up first!

Micah gives Brown Suga, Daugh Tee, Smilez, and the rest of the women the same instructions.

Eventually, everybody piles into the vans, wondering what Chance has planned.

A Lingerie Rumor Starts Making the Rounds

In one van, Gran Tee says some of the women assumed Bad & Bougie had slept with Chance because they saw her wearing lingerie.

Bad & Bougie denies it. She says lingerie is simply what she wears.

And there we have it. An outfit is not proof of what somebody did the night before.

Rollie tells the women to mind their business. We might be nosy, but she has a point.

Bad & Bougie also brings up Rollie’s earlier “Botox p***y” insult.

That comment is still following them around, lol.

But the conversation soon shifts to Fluffy, formerly introduced as Stormi, and whether she is really there for Chance.

Skittlz Predicts the Outing

Switch…

In the other van, Skittlz is already suspicious.

Wearing a pink wig, she says she hopes they aren’t headed to a boxing ring.

She thinks the outing might be a way to address all the fighting in the house.

Some of the women disagree, but Skittlz sticks with her prediction.

“I think we fighting.”

Biggie also considers the possibility of fighting, although she doesn’t think it will happen in a boxing ring.

Well, what if it does?

Fluffy Explains Herself

Switch…

Back in the other van, Wap Wap says she asked Fluffy whether she was there for Chance and Fluffy said no. Rollie repeats that account to the group.

That brings up the obvious question: If Fluffy isn’t there for Chance, why is she on the show?

Fluffy explains that she came to get to know him. She says it isn’t realistic to claim she loves somebody she doesn’t know.

She wasn’t already interested in him before the show, but she came to explore whether there could be a connection.

That distinction makes sense to me. Coming to explore a connection is not the same as arriving already in love.

The women keep questioning her, and Fluffy says the arguing is not for her. She announces that she is leaving the competition.

The others say they aren’t arguing, but Fluffy has had enough of the back-and-forth.

Then she puts in her headphones.

The other women keep talking, but she is done participating.

Priceless.

Wap Wap continues telling the others that Fluffy has been negative during the ride. Rollie gets irritated that Fluffy is ignoring her and reminds her that cameras are recording their conversations.

But Fluffy is listening to her music and bobbing along.

For her, the conversation is over.

You don’t have to keep arguing just because somebody else still has something to say. Fluffy has decided this environment is not for her, and I respect her leaving on her own terms.

Bye, Fluffy. I appreciated your confidence and the way you stood up for yourself.

Muah!

Welcome to the Boxing Gym

Skittlz called it: they arrive at a boxing gym.

Uh-oh!

Chance and Micah arrive, and Chance notices somebody is missing.

Where is Fluffy?

Wap Wap tells them about the conversation in the van, including Fluffy putting in her headphones and refusing to continue engaging.

In her confessional, Wap Wap takes credit for provoking the situation that led to Fluffy’s departure.

Well, she sees it as a victory. I see somebody deciding she has had enough.

Rollie also claims that Fluffy’s afro is a lace-front wig, and Chance looks surprised.

That is Rollie’s claim. Either way, it doesn’t change my objection to repeatedly mocking Fluffy’s hairstyle after she said she didn’t like the joke.

Chance introduces Natalie Nunn, who has come to help oversee the outing.

The women clap, and Natalie looks good in her leather outfit. I like that!

Chance tells her the women have been tearing up his house. Natalie says he called, so she came to assess the situation.

The Rules—and Another Departure

The idea is for the women with disagreements to face each other in the ring, with the others also expected to participate.

Chance seems to think this will get the bad blood out of their systems.

We will see about that.

Natalie tells the women not to worry about their wigs because she never does.

Well, she has a point there, lol.

Smallz says she has never boxed before and has only been in one fight, but she thinks her hands work.

We are about to find out.

Chance says anybody who refuses to participate could be on the chopping block.

Danii Dashian immediately raises her hand. She doesn’t want to box.

Chance questions her feelings for him, but not wanting to get punched is not proof that somebody doesn’t like you.

She says goodbye and leaves.

Good for her for knowing what she is and isn’t willing to do. Dating somebody should not require agreeing to a boxing match.

Chance is disappointed because he was attracted to her.

Well, attraction doesn’t mean she has to agree to everything you suggest.

The Warmup—and the Seventy-Five-Cent Bear

The remaining women start warming up and working with the punching bags.

Gran Tee says it has been more than thirty years since she fought.

She is not exactly eager to get back into it.

Then Chance announces that Wap Wap brought him a teddy bear that looks like it came from Goodwill.

Wap Wap looks surprised that he brings it up in front of everybody.

In her confessional, she admits that the bear DID come from Goodwill and cost seventy-five cents.

Well, it’s the thought that counts! She thought about you, Chance. Take the bear and say thank you.

He he!

Enough warming up. Let’s get to the matches.

The Throwdowns

Wap Wap vs. Biggie

I give this round to Biggie.

Wap Wap walks away upset, with security following her.

After all the tough talk, that was quite a change in energy. Still, losing a boxing match doesn’t settle every argument that happened in the house.

Let’s move on.

Rollie vs. Smallz

I give this one to Rollie, but Smallz held her own.

I’ll give her credit for getting in there and trying.

Then Rollie collides with Chance, knocks him down, and starts grinding on him in the ring.

This show cannot stay serious for five minutes. I cracked up.

Shyne vs. Yodela

Yodela gets the better of Shyne in this matchup, in my opinion.

Remember Shyne talking about being able to fight?

Well, that is not what I’m seeing here.

Yodela says she heard Shyne had been threatening to fight her and had brought up a friend of hers who passed away.

That is Yodela’s account of what led to the tension between them.

The matchup is already heated, but the conflict doesn’t stay within the boxing exchange.

After the exchange, Shyne lands an unexpected punch and moves out of the ring.

That is what I don’t respect. If you are participating in a boxing match, keep it within the match instead of turning it into a surprise attack.

Yodela follows her, and another physical confrontation breaks out before they are separated.

So much for leaving the bad blood in the ring.

Shyne keeps talking afterward, but when Yodela approaches, she moves away.

All that tough talk is not matching what I’m watching.

Then Skittlz gets involved and attacks Shyne.

Why?

That is where the episode leaves us. We will have to see what happens next.

My Overall Thoughts

Well, Skittlz guessed the outing correctly, but I’m not convinced this boxing trip solved anything.

The idea was to leave the bad blood in the ring. Instead, we ended up with more fighting outside it.

I respect Fluffy deciding the environment wasn’t for her. She explained herself, stopped engaging, and left on her own terms.

I also respect Danii Dashian declining to box. You don’t have to prove interest in a man by agreeing to something you don’t want to do.

Wap Wap’s little gift was a thoughtful moment, even if Chance couldn’t resist clowning that seventy-five-cent bear. Sometimes a small gesture says more than all this competing and arguing.

As for the matches, Biggie, Rollie, and Yodela came out ahead in my eyes. Smallz deserves credit for holding her own too.

But Shyne’s unexpected punch and Skittlz jumping into the conflict took us right back to the same problem we supposedly came here to address.

Chance, are we getting any closer to a love connection, or are we just changing locations for the arguments?

Who impressed you in the ring, and what did you think about Fluffy and Danii Dashian choosing to leave?

What are your thoughts?
