Recap Of One Mo’ Chance Season 2 Episode Two: “Get Your House In Order”
Okay, Chance fans, let’s get into One Mo’ Chance Season 2, Episode Two, “Get Your House In Order,” on the Zeus Network. The ladies have barely moved in, and the house is already in chaos! I’ll share my overall thoughts at the end, but first, a warning: spoilers ahead!
Episode Two: “Get Your House In Order”
Ready? Let’s get started!
The episode picks up where we left off last week. Rollie Pollie Snack Mealz rushes into the bedroom where Gabriella and Maria are, still insisting that the sisters had men visit them at the hotel.
She tries to charge toward them, and Chance orders her out. Rollie leaves, partly because security is pushing her out, but the b.s. most certainly continues, lol.
Chance says Rollie bursting into the room scared him so badly that he almost had a heart attack. He insists he is looking for “love, not a thug.”
Yeah, right, Chance. We believe you. But remember, YOU PICKED THEM.
Meanwhile, the sisters are standing on the bed.
Why?
Who comes into a house everybody has been calling beautiful and immediately starts standing on the furniture?
Gabriella refers to Rollie as a “psychotic b***h” and says it’s hard to find love with her there.
Ma’am, YOU ARE STILL STANDING ON THE BED. Yawl just arrived at this house, and we have already gone from arguing over the furniture to standing on it. Please get down!
My issue with Gabriella is her behavior. Pushing somebody over a bed and then continuing to antagonize the situation is not a great first impression.
Gabriella says Rollie is old news and wants Chance to send her home.
Chance says he will tell Rollie to calm down or leave. He finds her sitting in a corner, struggling to put her wig back on.
Finally!
Rollie Pleads Her Case—with a Side of Chicken
Rollie reminds Chance that he didn’t believe her when she tried to warn him about some of the women last season. She insists she was right then and is telling the truth now.
But here is what I want to know: Why is Rollie eating fried chicken wings in the middle of explaining how she has been wronged?
Are we supposed to take this seriously, or are we all supposed to laugh? Because she is pleading her case and having a meal at the same time.
I can’t, lol.
Chance says he trusts Rollie and doesn’t think she would start trouble for no reason. Rollie tells him Gabriella pushed her to the floor.
Micah asks, “Now how is that possible?”
So basically, Micah is here to clown, right?
Rollie responds, “That b***h is fat too, she ain’t f*****g skinny!”
Did anybody else howl at that exchange? The whole scene is ridiculous, and mind you, she is STILL munching on the chicken.
Chance says he will speak to the other women and sort things out. Before leaving, he tells Rollie to finish her chicken and snacks, even pointing out the bags of chips.
“Eat your snacks,” he tells her.
Micah follows that up with, “He making sure you eat, but are you going to make sure he eats?”
Rollie responds, “He gonna eat this p***y, that’s what he is going to eat. Night night!”
Lol. This show is bananas, for real.
Back in the bedroom, the sisters are finally off the beds and talking about how the house is too much for them.
Well, then leave!
Instead, they stay and continue complaining. So far, their behavior is giving me bully vibes, and yawl already know how I feel about that.
Charisse Explains How She Got Involved
Switch…
Chance asks Charisse how she ended up with a broken nail.
Charisse says she was trying to hand Rollie her wig when Rollie started insulting her and talking about “Botox p***y.”
What the heck does that even mean, yawl?
We went from fighting over a bed to THIS? FOH.
Switch…
Rollie has been separated from Charisse and the sisters, and now she is telling some of the other women what happened.
But she is wigless again.
Rollie, why is the wig off? Why are you twirling it in your hands while you tell this story?
PUT YOUR WIG BACK ON, MA’AM.
Rollie says the sisters jumped her and insists the issue is far from over. She also claims she beat them up.
Diamond says they had it coming.
According to Rollie, the sisters were friendly with her earlier because they were worried she would expose their alleged hotel visitors. She says they called her the “Queen of the show,” but now they are being disrespectful.
In Rollie’s opinion, they are clout chasing.
Whew!
Meeko chimes in that the sisters need to go, and Rollie continues talking about them.
Meanwhile, Charisse is in the kitchen with Gabriella, Maria, and some of the other women. They can hear the conversation.
The house is already starting to divide.
Yawl just got here! You barely know each other. And if you are really here for Chance, why are you already so invested in taking sides against another woman?
Charisse Throws Chicken—and the Kitchen Erupts
Charisse starts throwing fried chicken from the kitchen toward Rollie in the living room.
Really?
So now we are throwing food?
Security rushes in as the women in the living room get upset. And honestly, I understand why. If you throw something at somebody else and hit me instead, now you have dragged me into your mess.
Louisa, who has seemed pretty chill, is particularly aggravated.
Don’t mistake somebody being calm for them being willing to tolerate disrespect. Humble is a choice.
Charisse continues talking while security stands between her and the women coming into the kitchen.
So this is what you like, Chance, huh?
Lol.
I bet Micah was cracking up. Maybe Chance should have let him pick at least a few of the women. Because throwing things and then continuing to antagonize people from behind security is not classy.
This is crazy.
Some women stand back and watch while others do the absolute most. At this point, it feels less like a search for love and more like an audition to become the next unforgettable reality-TV personality.
Well, say that, then!
Grab your popcorn, your piping-hot tea, or your Hot Cheetos. This kitchen argument is about to take over a whole lot of the episode.
Tokyo Gets Caught in the Crossfire
Tokyo says Rollie is her “dog,” and she starts yelling at Charisse in Rollie’s defense.
Didn’t yawl just meet? But okay.
The sisters are yelling too, and there is so much happening at once that it becomes difficult to follow every exchange.
Side note: HEY ZEUS, what is going on with the production?
Visible microphones, cameras, and other equipment keep drawing my attention away from the scene. With this much commotion, the editing could also do a better job helping us follow what is happening.
Just a little feedback from somebody who cares. Now, back to the recap.
The yelling continues, and then objects start flying. Gabriella throws something toward Rollie, who throws something back.
There are contestants, production members, and security guards crowded into this kitchen. This is an unsafe situation.
Maria mostly seems to be backing up Gabriella, while the argument keeps spreading.
During the commotion, Tokyo gets hit in the face by a glass bowl thrown by Gabriella.
OH, HELL NAW.
Security has to restrain several women as more objects are thrown. Tokyo’s top even slips during the struggle.
Sonya tells Gabriella she should have confronted Tokyo directly instead of throwing something. Gabriella stays beside her sister, with security between them and the others.
Meanwhile, women who aren’t directly involved are still in the path of flying objects.
Why keep throwing things when you can clearly see all these people in the way?
Yodela says in her confessional that she wishes Rollie would be quiet, especially since this is supposed to be her second chance.
I like Rollie, but this is a mess.
The argument goes on and on. Rollie wants to fight, the sisters keep yelling, and security keeps everybody separated.
Either have an actual conversation or separate already. All this yelling and throwing things is going nowhere, and people who aren’t even involved are getting caught in it.
Tokyo points toward Gabriella and threatens to beat her up. Security holds Tokyo back while the sisters remain on the other side, continuing to argue.
Really, Chance? This is your type?
Chance Tries to Get the House Under Control
Chance comes downstairs and says he was trying to roll a blunt when the commotion interrupted him.
Several women immediately start shouting their versions of what happened.
Security tries to get everybody quiet.
To no avail, lol.
Chance asks Gabriella why she threw the glass bowl. She says she is sorry it hit Tokyo and that she didn’t mean for it to hit her.
Chance says somebody is going to have to leave. He wants peace, and he warns that if another glass is thrown, women will be sent home. He calls the behavior cowardly and says everybody needs to be safe.
Well, excuse me, but did you forget? YOU PICKED THEM.
Chance explains that he was trying to come up with names for the naming ceremony, but the house is too chaotic.
He orders the women to their rooms so the mess can be cleaned up and he can think.
Most start to disperse, but Tokyo is still upset and threatening Gabriella. Chance goes to speak with her and says there won’t be any more throwing.
He warns that one more incident will mean somebody leaves that night.
Tokyo wants Gabriella gone immediately. Can you blame her?
She thinks both sisters should go because they operate as a package deal.
Chance says he needs time to think and threatens to send at least three women home if he is disturbed again.
Stormi also tells him the sisters should leave because of the glass throwing.
His response?
“You just mad at me for calling you bird’s nest.”
And here we go again.
Stormi is talking about somebody getting hit with glass, and Chance turns it into another joke about her natural hair.
I like that she stands up for herself. Your hair is gorgeous, Stormi.
Chance says he is only joking, but Stormi has already made it clear that she doesn’t find it funny. At what point do you stop explaining the joke and just stop making it?
The Naming Ceremony Gets Postponed
Chance goes upstairs with Micah and questions whether he even wants to give out names that night.
Micah points out that Rollie is right in the middle of the chaos despite being invited back for another season. He thinks she is a candidate to go home.
Excuse me, Micah. What about the sisters? What about Charisse throwing chicken?
FOH.
Chance wants to go to bed and deal with the naming ceremony in the morning.
Remember, this is STILL the first day. All of this started while the women were choosing bedrooms.
Smdh.
Micah says they should give the women some house rules before turning in.
They gather everybody outside, and Chance explains that there will not be a naming ceremony that night. Their behavior has put him in a foul mood, and he doesn’t want to name them while he is feeling that way.
He says some of them don’t seem to want or deserve to be there.
But, dude, YOU PICKED THEM.
He calls the sisters “Uno” and “Dos” and points out how they feed off each other because they know they have each other’s support.
He also calls out Rollie for her hotel evidence and her behavior.
Rollie says she was attacked. The replay shows her throwing the first punch in that exchange, but earlier we also saw Gabriella push her to the floor over the bed.
Those are separate actions, and neither one needs to get lost in all this yelling.
Rollie also continues defending her evidence.
We have already seen what was on that phone, ma’am.
Chance Addresses the Rest of the Ladies
Chance turns his attention to Sonya, Meeko, and Sashanna.
Sonya starts explaining her side, and Chance responds, “Hold up, Mama, you are coming at me kinda rough.”
Whoooooop! I cracked up.
Sonya says Sashanna came for Meeko, so she had to defend her daughter.
If you say so, ma.
Meeko says Sashanna has a bad attitude and that she had to hold her own.
Meeko, do YOU have a bad attitude? I’m just wondering.
From what we saw, Sashanna stood up for herself after that “doggie section” business. But carry on.
Micah then accuses Rosie of using his bathroom and leaving stains.
Yuck. Shut up, Micah.
Rosie laughs off the comments instead of getting offended. She says she needed to pee and his was the first room she found.
Okay, Rosie. We see you.
Chance tells the women to stay out of Micah’s room.
Well, Micah is fine, so I can understand the interest. But just like Chance, he can take a joke too far.
Chance also calls attention to Louisa being quiet.
Thank goodness somebody is! At least we get a chance to hear.
Louisa seems interested in Chance to me, although Micah has his doubts.
Chance says he wants the women to get along and show each other more love. Charisse says she will show HIM more love, not the other women.
Micah thinks she is “bougie.”
Chance calls Stormi “Nest,” and another back-and-forth about her hair follows.
WE DON’T CARE.
He says he isn’t belittling her, but he also won’t let it go. DANG!
In the end, the naming ceremony is officially postponed. Everybody is going to bed.
The Next Morning: Chicken, Hotel Claims, and Naming-Ceremony Nerves
Dominique, Dani, Rosie, and Diamond sit outside discussing the previous night. Charisse and Nadia join them with cocktails in hand.
The women ask Charisse about throwing chicken at Rollie. Charisse says Rollie deserved it for talking about her vagina.
So that is her explanation.
Diamond says she knows one of the men Rollie identified outside the hotel. She also claims the sisters aren’t genuinely there for Chance.
That is Diamond’s take, but it still doesn’t turn Rollie’s hotel footage into proof of a sexual encounter.
Nadia thinks the sisters will be the first women eliminated.
Charisse asks whether everybody is excited about getting their names at the upcoming ceremony.
Rosie is worried about what Chance might call her because she has a small booty.
Lol. With Chance doing the naming, I understand being nervous.
A Board Game Turns Into Another Argument
Switch…
Sashanna, Khadijah, Louisa, Stoney, Maria, Gabriella, and Yodela are gathered around a board game. For a moment, it looks like they are having a decent time.
Then they start discussing the night before.
Stoney is upset about Louisa throwing liquor and other things. Louisa apologizes, and Stoney accepts.
Good. Hopefully, that is the end of that particular issue.
Sashanna points out that most people would react to having things thrown at them, directing her comment toward Gabriella.
Some of the women tell Sashanna to calm down, and eventually she and Yodela get into a long argument.
Some of the insults are about Sashanna being skinny.
Making fun of Sashanna for being skinny is still body-shaming. Women don’t have to be the same size to deserve basic respect.
But I digress.
The back-and-forth goes on so long that the others start wandering away. Eventually, only Louisa, Yodela, and Sashanna remain.
Yodela finally gets up to leave, but she and Sashanna are still arguing as she walks out.
Sashanna tells her to go back to her “minions.”
That prompts Yodela to call the other women BACK into the room so they can hear what Sashanna said.
Lol. We were so close to this conversation being over.
More insults follow before Yodela and the others leave again.
Sashanna then tries to continue the discussion with Louisa, but Louisa is not interested in keeping the mess going. She suggests they go smoke instead.
And that is that.
I like Louisa. Don’t yawl?
Rollie Goes After the Sisters Again
Switch…
Later, Rollie says she hears the sisters talking about her child. She heads inside and starts throwing things.
Sigh. Here we go again!
Rollie picks up a chair and tries to throw it toward the sisters, but security intervenes and restrains her.
And that is where the episode ends.
My Overall Thoughts
This episode felt like a filler episode to me. Plenty happened in terms of arguing, but how much progress did we make in Chance’s search for love?
We are still dealing with the fallout from choosing bedrooms!
Throwing chicken was ridiculous enough. Once glass bowls and other objects started flying, it stopped being just messy and became dangerous. Tokyo had every reason to be upset about getting hit.
And Chance, threatening to send somebody home after the NEXT incident doesn’t do much about the one that already happened.
I’m also tired of the jokes about Stormi’s hair. She doesn’t find them funny, and she has said so. Let it go.
Louisa continues to stand out to me because she seems capable of stepping away from an argument instead of stretching it into another scene.
As for Rollie and the sisters, this feud is already taking over the show. Can we get through the naming ceremony before another object goes flying?
What names do you think Chance will give the ladies—and who do you think should have been sent home already?
What are your thoughts?
